  we're all in this together... and whatever each of us is going through on our own we'll get through it together and never have to struggle on alone ever again cos we've found each other and accepted each other unconditionally.

  we're here for you just like you are here for us (and wishin' to be there for you more than here, but thems the breaks, i guess...).

  Explain you religion/beliefs in a nutshell

  lately i have been pondering my lack of a belief system.

  i think that being a jw really turned me off to believing in anything since it was all crammed down my throat.. i have been feeling a need to believe in something.

  i think i believe that something created us but not sure if it was one god or many.

  I believe in God and Jesus. Still not sure if they are the same. I still believe in the bible. I believe as Ray Franz explains that many are and can be a "faithfull and discreet slave"

  after reading jt stumbler's topic on avatars, i recognised that certain avatars appeal to me, and i'm sure others feel the same.... .

  elsewhere (no idea why, gimme a clue), ezekiel3 (says a lot), euphemism (loved the marx bros) and googlemagoogle (so classical) spring to mind, oh, ip_sec's last avatar (the red pyramid) - want to revert back ip_sec?

  oh, and stillajwexelder - after reading your posting on jt stumbler's thread i realise i previously had the wrong impression - lol.

  Does Devil Talk Irritate You?

  i enjoy reading the bible on my own since i left the jw's.

  i get extremely irritated when other people talk to me about how satan is causing certain things in my life--example is if i'm not getting along with a coworker or anything like that.

  (my husband also blames satan).

  Turning in time reports monthly-

  if a jw has to turn in a time report each month then it seems like compulsion--when is it out of love that one goes out into service?

  Good point JohnHag! I was told by an elder that every "organization" has to have a way of examining progress. So I ask him, even though I am a good father and husband if I don't excell in field time Im not good enough?
